I agree with Lady Callie, I just came on here and with many of your uploads its way too obvious you are looking to other deviants for your concepts. Its something that cant be reported sadly, but you should break away from it if you want to ever improve or have a unique voice on here.

For example [link] this and a few of your other icon sets are obviously eyeballed in the eye/mouth department from [link] (you even gave the green ones the same open mouth)
and her normal eye placement [link]

Chibi icons and rainbows are nothing new here on DA, but acrylicana had a VERY unique way of doing them (especially the mouths and fold line under the eyes) and other elements.

[link] may not look exactly like any of her pieces, but its because you took the concept from her MANY pieces like that [link] (for example) and made your own. Again, it cant be reported, but its really in bad taste to not at least credit the source of your inspiration.

I've moving all my things over to my new gallery as i'd originally intended and taking off things that might come off as inspired by someone else, or at least the things that i knew were inspired.

I have seen dozens of things like that where no one credits anyone else so i never thought to say that three different people's things inspired me to do something myself.

i'm not copying anything. I take inspiration from tones of different sources. I have -never- taken someone elses work and called it my own.

But you are COPYING THEIR IDEAS almost DIRECTLY. Making tiny changes doesn't make it any better.

I'm sorry. I was not aware that rainbows were hers. That entire picture was done while i was sitting in a radiology class with no internet access so i do not know how i could have copied things directly. Yes her artwork inspired me but that is it. Considering i have seen dozens of other people who have art that reminds me of hers? I would think you need to go call all of them art thieves too.

Oh believe me - people do. It's not just Acrylicana that you are taking ideas from, but also a few other girls that I know here. It's not fair to make almost direct copies and then try to monetize it. Make your own things. People might respect you more.
